Pay What You Can Sundays

In response to the province-wide elimination of the Museums Free Sundays program announced earlier this year, we are implementing a Pay What You Can Sunday initiative.

Starting in July, admission to the CCA on the first Sunday of each month is on a pay-what-you-can basis, a voluntary contribution where you choose to pay according to your means and preferences. This model aims to facilitate access to visitors who may not be able to afford our regular admission fee, while encouraging those for whom a full-priced ticket is within reach to pay the regular fee.

Each of our Pay What You Can Sundays offers different programming, including activities for children and families. See our events calendar for more information.

Other ways to visit us for less:

Entry is free of charge on Thursday evenings after 5pm.

The CCA is now part of Montréal’s Borrow a Museum program, offering free access to nine museums with your municipal library card.

And people under 18 years old, members of Indigenous communities, and Friends of the CCA can always enjoy free access.

Friends of the CCA also enjoy additional benefits, including access to special events, invitations to exhibition openings, discounts at our Bookstore, and exclusive offers with other cultural institutions in Montréal.

This website is also an extension of our activities, allowing you to encounter and engage with our programs and Collection, including our weekly online editorial program, our films, and recordings of public lectures and events.

And you can always enjoy Parc Baile and the Sculpture Garden throughout the year.
