- Brass and steel compass of simple design, with lengthening bar, pen point, and divider point, in a cylindrical wood case with slip-on lid. Exterior of case is covered with leather, which is scuffed and cracking along seams; interior is lined with green veneer and is also in poor condition. Compass and attachments each fit into a slot in the body of the case.
