Physical characteristics and technical requirements:

- Album comprises 72 albumen silver prints mounted on 72 white sheets with gilded edges bound with red tape. The contemporary cover consists of black, tooled leather-covered front and back boards and spine. There is a gilt inscription on front cover and spine with gilt decoration around inner edges of front and back covers. The endpapers are marbled; the second fly leaf and the second last fly leaf are of white paper. Photographs PH1982:0432:006, PH1982:0432:009, PH1982:0432:011, PH1982:0432:013, PH1982:0432:016, PH1982:0432:019, PH1982:0432:025, PH1982:0432:033, PH1982:0432:039, PH1982:0432:047, PH1982:0432:057, PH1982:0432:059, PH1982:0432:065 and PH1982:0432:069 have illegible inscriptions stamped in black ink seen in mirror image on the verso.
