Physical characteristics and technical requirements:

- The portfolio consists of a box made of gray cloth-covered boards. The cover has a black leather label with a gold gilt inscription. The interior of the box is lined with marbled paper and the secondary supports are of white construction paper. The portfolio is comprised of title pages, a dedication page, a foreword written by Lewis I. Sharp, 103 photographs, a plan of the Bethesda Terrace, and a page giving publication details of the portfolio.
