"The printing of twelve hundred copies of this book, began in the year nineteen twenty-three, was completed by Pynson Printers in their shop at New York in the month of July, nineteen twenty-nine. The type composition was done under the supervision of William Maurice Ling and the presswork by Gabriel Lambert. Each of the first fifty-five copies, with the proof of the lithograph portrait signed by Rockwell Kent, contains a special print made and signed by T.M. Cleland. -- Colophon.
