"This first edition of an original manuscript is limited to 495 copies and each volume is signed by Ian O'Casey, paper-maker, and A.S. Maney, printer, who were jointly responsible for the production. The text is printed on the Hale Paper Company's Pauncefoot Somerset rag mould-paper, and nine different hand-made papers are also used. The latter were produced by Ian O'Casey of Aisling Hand-made Papers from 100% rag pulp, and a unique feature is the inclusion of a sample of genuine papyrus. The text is set in Perpetua type, 14 point, 1 point leaded, corrected and made up by hand, and printed, under the personal direction of A.S. Maney, M.A. The illustrations are by Harry Bradley. All volumes have been hand bound by B. Riley & Company, of Huddersfield, in full art canvas on boards, with decorative endpapers by Aisling."--Colophon.
