In 1837 v. 4 and 5 of that work were published in one volume (with 30 plates) under title* Histoire de l'architecture religieuse, civile et milliaire du moyen-age (quoted in Bibliographie de la France, 1837, no. 4615) A third edition containing the "Architecture religieuse"only appeared in 1841 with title: L'histoire sommaire de l'architecture religieuse (one volume in 8 and atlas in 4 oblong, quoted in Bibliographie de la France, 1842, no 1636 under title: Cours d'antiquitiʹes monumentales ... 4. partie, Moyen Age: architecture religieuse) A rʹesumʹe of this work appeared with title: Abʹecʹedaire ou rudiment d'archʹeologie ... Ouvrage approuve par l'Institut des provinces de France ... Paris [etc.] 1850: in it, as in the present edition, numerous full-page illustrations take the place of the plates in former editions. cf.
