"Imprimé à Lyon par Iean Marcorelle. 1572"--Colophon.
Title placed within an elaborate architectural border with two terms. It incorporates the arms of Léonor Chabot, comte de Charny, to whom the work is dedicated. Near the top of the border is the date 1571, not 157 as in the copy described by Mortimer. The 18 pairs of woodcut male and female terms appear on the 2nd & 3rd and the 6th & 7th pages of the 8-page gatherings. Letterpress explanations follow each pair on the 4th and 8th pages, while the 1st and 5th pages are blank except for headlines and signatures. Head and tail pieces. One criblé initial.
Signatures: A-K⁴.
