The frontispiece, a copy of the one in the Paris 1674 and 1681 editions, is signed "J. Kip Sculp." The plates are close copies of those in the Paris editions.
Descriptive text for each plate on the verso of the preceding plate, except plates X-XI, which are printed with the description on both sides of one folding sheet, given two page numbers in the supplied pagination.
