Summary:

In his 2016 essay "Well into the 21st century," Alejandro Zaera-Polo attempted to define and categorize new forms of practice that have emerged in the last decade. As a follow-up, Zaera-Polo and Guillermo Fernández-Abascal applied the categories to emerging architectural practices, creating a "political compass" inspired by Charles Jencks's famous evolutionary diagrams. At the invitation of the CCA, Zaera-Polo and Jencks met to discuss diagrams.
