"The main goal of the Virtual Museum of Québec Photography, inaugurated in 1998, is to promote Québec photography after 1960 - images produced by photographers with an artistic approach recognized by their peers. For publication of the CD-ROM, we catalogued more than 3,000 reproductions of photographs made by 68 Québec artists and photographers. The Virtual Museum is presented as an open space, a research tool, a site for construction of ideas. It was initiated in 1990 by the artists' centre called Vox Populi, centre de diffusion de la photographie"--Folder.
