Summary:

Sound recordings of public lectures given by Lida Moser, discussing her work and, in particular, her photographs documenting the vernacular architecture of urban and rural Québec commissioned by Vogue magazine in 1950, and Jay Buckner, discussing the relationship between modern architecture and photography and the construction of space in photographic images, held at the Canadian Centre for Architecture, Montréal, Oct. 5, 1995. Presented in conjunction with the exhibitions "Parcours de photographes visiteurs au Québec" = "Four photographers visit Québec", on view at the the CCA, May 10-Oct. 15, 1995 and "Architectes de l'image" = "Architects of the image", on view at the the CCA, Oct. 11, 1995-Feb. 4, 1996.
