People say writing in a journal or diary is good practice. But what will you write about? You could really write about anything. Maybe it’s a good idea just to write about how you feel. If that’s too confusing or scary, just write about what activities you are planning to do after this, so you stay on track to finishing this flight. • People say music is a key to the soul. If you want to feel a certain feeling more, it could be good to listen to music. Sometimes when you’re sad, it’s good to listen to sad music so you can fully experience that feeling. • Again, if you’re alone, try simply talking to yourself out loud without recording. You might feel more free without the recording pressure. Sometimes it takes a little while to get used to how strange it feels to talk to yourself. If it’s awkward just try holding up your phone in Airplane Mode up to your face and pretend like you’re talking to someone on the phone. Maybe you can talk through some issues you’re working through. Or maybe you can dream of an imaginary land. Or you could start to plan what you’re doing once you arrive at your destination.
