Summary:

Other Internet received funding from PoolGrants to conduct research into PoolTogether’s off-chain governance and social architecture, with a focus on its Discord and governance forum. Our research was guided by questions such as: how should the “long tail” of contributors be rewarded? How did PoolTogether gain its reputation as a wholesome, encouraging community? And how might older ways of organizing corporations help solve the problems DAOs are facing? This is the second in a series of research reports on off-chain governance in the crypto ecosystem, co-funded by the Ethereum Foundation.
