First three no. for 1929 (March, April and May) bear variants of one title to indicate a change in the focus of the particular issue, and each has its own editor and numbering. First no.: Dom, osiedle, mieszkanie (R. 1, nr. 1 (mar. 1929)), is edited by Szczęsny Rutkowski; the second no.: Osiedle, mieszkanie, dom (R.1, nr. 1 (kwiec. 1929)), is edited by Jerzy Jankowski.
And the third no.: Mieszkanie, dom, osiedle (R. 1, nr. 1 (maj 1929)), is edited by Teodor Toeplitz. With no. 4-8 these titles alternate monthly, while the alternate numbering system continues the numbering of the particular focal title, i.e. R. 1, nr. 4 = Domu 2. The title of the issue is Dom, osiedle, mieszkanie. Each title continues to be edited by its own editor.
Beginning with the last issue for 1929 (Nr. 10-11-12 (grudz. 1929) = Nr. 4), the editors FINALLY settle on one title: Dom, osiedle, mieszkanie, and jointly edit the publication.
