Summer Flowers [electronic resource].
Pumflet Wolff Architects Chicago Architecture Biennial 2019
Open access content
Summer Flowers is commissioned by the 2019 Chicago Architecture Biennial – and other such stories, curated by Yesomi Umolu, Sepake Angiama and Paulo Tavares. It refers to the work of writer bessie head and gets it name from the initial title of her novel, a question of power. The project extends Head’s legacy as a novelist, letter writer and essayist into the realm of spatial practice by looking at her contributions into architecture and agriculture.
