"The first monograph by the Taiwanese artist Chen Chieh-jen (*1960 Taoyuan, Taiwan) appears in the Secession's publication series. The book, designed applying various shades of black, includes the artist's introduction to his recently completed film Worn Away (2022-23), which is presented at the Secession, sketches and handwritten notes, as well as a selection of video stills.
