Summary:

A study of the Taller Torres García, the school founded by Torres-García and the educational elements of the taller. Without doubt, it was a successful endeavor. What were the keys to that success? Would it be possible to transpose some of these elements to the teaching of contemporary architecture? The study covers the period between 1924 and 1949. It analyzes the concept of "constructivismo universal" through essays and conferences given during those years and contemporary criticism of the cosmovision of Torres-García. The study then analyzes the publications, conferences, exhibits as a complementary part of the educational process in the taller. This includes interviews with some of the direct disciples of Torres-García. The final part of the study the transposition to key educational elements to the teaching of contemporary architecture.
