Summary:

This collection of unnumbered fascicules documents private residences primarily in turn-of-the-century France, in both urban and rural areas, with a few examples included from Belgium and England. The fascicules contain considerable textual and technical material, reviews of costs and other information, with text illustrations showing details, ground plans, etc. The plates show facades, elevations, ground plans, and other details of the buildings. Many of the plates show the influence of the prevailing Art Nouveau aesthetic style in France in the early twentieth century.
