A collection of essays discussing Jewish artistic expression and the works of specific Jewish artists, focusing on architecture. Pp. 49-56, "Su quale terreno - l'arte nei campi di sterminio, " state that artistic works by Jewish inmates of Nazi camps were not attempts at an imaginative integration of reality, but rather an effort at documentary and photographic reproduction out of a need to convey testimony on the camp experience. Pp. 57-61, "Assassinato un altro bambino ebreo, " denounce the terrorist attack against a Rome synagogue (10 October 1982). States that so-called anti-Zionism is in fact plain antisemitism, and that the Italian press and intellectuals are very much tainted with both in their relation to Jews and Israel. (From the Bibliography of the Vidal Sassoon International Center for the Study of Antisemitism).
