The present study identifies and documents the existing 19th architecture ornamental patrimony of the city of Bogot featuring the history and personages involved in the creation of sculptures, relieves, moldings and carvings produced between 1880 and 1930. The study comprises 3 time sections: The first part concentrates in the moment the city started its urban process of modernization and its change to neoclassic an architectonic and construction style. A second focuses in the work of the Ramelli family (Luigi and his sons Colombo and Mauricio), with an inventory of their legacy and the ornamentation work for the School of Fine Arts. A third section covers the "Republican style", a formal art style inspired in personages, trends and meaning of the symbols used in the interior and facades (91650.
