Engravings by Cottart after designs by various architects including himself.
Engraved historiated t.p. included in leaves of plates, those following numbered 2-12.
Earlier ed. including the subjects and a dedication page dated 1650. "Receuil de plusiers pièces darchitecture qui sont à Paris et aux environs." "Se vendent chez l'auteur." The Anvers 1660 ed. t.p. also shows: "P. Cottaert fecit" in some copies.
Inventaire du fonds français, XVIIème s. observes: Ces pièces figurent avec celle de Jean Marot, qui généralement indique à tort semble t-il, comme ayant participéà leur preparation.
