Summary:

Anthony Caro visited the Henry Moore Studio at Dean Clough for the first time in the spring of 1992. He had been invited by the Henry Moore Sculpture Trust to make us of the studio in whatever way he considered most appropriate and valuable at that moment in his career as a sculptor. The large scale installation, Halifax Steps – Ziggurats and Spirals, was the result.This catalogue records ‘Halifax Steps’ through installation photography of the exhibition, as well as photos of the work under construction, and an interview between Antony Caro and Robert Hopper (Director of the Henry Moore Sculpture Trust).
