Les Brandons sont une cité-jardin, conçue dans les années 20 pour loger les ouvriers à portée de vue de l'employeur, les chantiers navals, fermés en 1954. Ils ne sont plus qu'à moitié occupés par une population vieillissante, dont les souvenirs sont présentés, ainsi que le projet architectural de J.-Y. Barrier, destiné à remplacer cette ancienne cité ouvrière.
