Wood engravings: Le Royer's device on title page, featuring figure of Christ seated before a potter's wheel, with motto "Stante et currente rota;" ornamental initials; head-pieces; illustrated with numerous geometric diagrams and sketches relating to perspective.
Illustrations sketched on wood blocks by Jehan Cousin; the engraving was begun by Aubin Olivier, with his brother-in-law Le Royer doing most of the cutting; see printer's note to reader, "L'imprimeur au lecteur," page [6].
Text printed in roman type.
