This publication offers a representative survey of projects by Kurokawa of forth-five successful years, supplemented by the architect's own explanatory texts. It presents his world-famous classical buildings, such as the Nakagin Capsule, the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, and the New Wing of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. The volume also includes three projects currently under construction of astounding dimension: the National Art Center Tokyo, the high-rise complex Fusionpolis in Singapore, and Zhengdong New District in China, a city to be founded for 1.5 million inhabitants.
