The model houses served as promotional material for the National Plan Service, Chicago, and were left with its client dealers by its agents. The parts are assembled using a metal frame, on a base (with floor plan) of approximately 30 x 36 cm. Some of the parts are labelled with specific model names: Beaumont Ellencott, Eastford, Easton, Eden, Elkins, Odell, Oliver; many are unspecified as to model and are meant to be interchangeable. The set includes assorted roof parts, wall parts and special features such as windows, porticos and steps.
