A collection of 26 articles by the author previously printed in two editorial columns of Mexican newspapers: "Ámbito tres" published in Excelsior (1989-1994) and "Arquitectura y sociedad" published in El Día (1997-1999). Architect Alfonso Ramirez Ponce is a specialist in low-cost constructions, using traditional materials like brick, adobe, tepetate (volcanic rock) and soil cement. He constructs using the millenarian support technique of overlapping bricks, without any system of scaffolds or additional reinforcement.
