The IMIB [International Movement for an Imaginist Bauhaus] held a conference entitled 'Demonstrate in favour of unitary urbanism' at the Turin Cultural Union from 10 to 15 December 1956"--Home, S. The assault on culture, p. 28
'Unitary urbanism' was an underground movement that criticized the status quo of urbanism. The term was first used at the end of 1956 in this tract. Cf. Internationale situationniste, no 3, décembre 1959.
