Summary:

While constructing any building, the architects maintain a record of client visits: a book which contains a record of approvals, changes and contingencies, of the details that must be resolved and the project failed in their plans anticipate, there are instructions, drawings, handwritten comments. That book, known as workbook is a mix of log and record the shape of a continuous record: in addition to their status as legal documents and evidence of the responsibilities of the architect on the building is testimony to the pulse of their concerns. This publication aims to present the work of Cruz & Browne architects study from a similar perspective: rather than a sequence of individual works, it is the construction of a continuous body of work intertwined. They, somehow, part of one ongoing project that reveals the persistence of a particular way of thinking and building architecture. This book is organized into four chapters that refer to themes in the work of Cruz & Brown: Location and fit, size and distance, presence and light, and proximity are key.
