Summary:

Audio recording of a lecture by architects Mark Poddubiuk and Daniel Pearl from the Montréal firm OEUF. They talk about what it's like to work as an architect, their firm's philosophy of eclecticism, social housing, and environmental issues. Several of OEUF's projects are discussed, such as the redevelopment of Benny Farm and the Ecoresidence at McGill University's MacDonald campus. The event was the second in a lecture series entitled "L'architecte en ville" = "Montréal Architecture : Here and Now". Recorded Oct. 9, 1997 at the Canadian Centre for Architecture, Montréal. Includes introductory remarks by Nancy Dunton.
