Summary:

The abandoned and partly destroyed early 20th century building known as "Edificio de Tranvias" (Tramway Building) in the downtown section of the northern port city of Tampico was declared Patrimonial Historic Building by INAH in the 1990's. In 1994 the proprietor, the state Federal Commission of Electricity (CFE) selected architect Rafael Godard for the restoration and intervention of the 1917 industrial neoclassical building. The present edition is the architectural report of the historic background, restoration and reconstruction plans and interior design of the new public offices of CFE Zona Tampico.
