A research study on the ecological efficiency, audacity, spatial aesthetics and landscape integration in the architecture of Siegbert Zanettini (b. Sao Paulo, 1934), one of Brazil's most distinguished contemporary architects and a pioneer in the sector of the construction of rounded structures (arches). Zanettini combines steel and concrete pre-designed modular and circular structures with industrial and recycled components to create sustainable and eco-efficient buildings. The edition comprises a selection of projects constructed during the last 4 decades in Brazil, in a career Zanettini has completed with an academic vocation strongly involved with social, ecological and technological aspects.
