1 model (32 pieces) : cardboard, color ; various sizes
"Toy model of Richardson's Cheney Building, Hartford, Connecticut, ca. 1893 ... Given out as a holiday souvenir by Brown & Thomson Company during the Christmas season, ca. 1893 ... The Cheney Building, built in 1875-76, had become the Brown Thomson & Company Department Store by the time this souvenir was issued in the 1890's. The building still stands, essentially unchanged in its exterior, and is now known as Brown & Thomson's, one of the more popular restaurants in downtown Hartford ... The salient architectural details, including the fenestration, the Romanesque arches and porches are also faithfully reproduced in the model"--Dealer's catalogue
