Published to accompany an exhibition at the Architecture Gallery Lucerne, this is a selection of recent projects from the office Riken Yamamoto, among them The Circle at Zurich Airport, a project originating from a competition in 2009 won by Yamamoto. The multifunctional building complex, where internal construction adapts medieval city structures into a modern form, is based on Yamamoto's research project focusing on the complex needs of urban communal living space.
