Biographical note:

Alfred Dennis Thacker (1879-1938) ws born in Walsall, England. Trained at the office of Bateman and Bateman, Birmingham, England. Worked. 1908-1926, with Ross and Macfarlane, Brown and Vallance, David R. Brown, and McVicar and Heriot in Montréal; with Chapman and McGiffen in Toronto. Worked independently in Montréal, 1926-1938.
