Summary:

This DVD showcases the architecture and urban planning of Jeremy Sturgess. Interviews with Sturgess and wife and architect-partner Lesley Beale provide a framework for specially commissioned footage of selected projects. Known mainly for many innovative house designs in Calgary and western Canada, Sturgess has garnered a Governor-General's award for architecture and several awards for urban design. He has designed single-family and multi-unit residences as well as major private and public buildings in Alberta, Yukon, B.C. and Japan.
