"The body matter, including head and tail pieces, is letterpress printed in two colours, the secondary colour being also used for the marginal notes. Black-and-white illustrations are reproduced in single-colour lithography, the same process in six colours being used for the full colour plates. The crest of the Dominion of Canada on the cover is in quadricolour letterpress."
