Description:
- This group of drawings are for a "truck transportable week-end house to be located on a beach in North Wales, UK" ('Architectural Design', 511). Accordion-shaped extendible boxes with cross bracing are designed to be pulled out by car from a fixed central core onto structural rail sections leveled on jacks. The fixed central core consists of living, dining, kitchen and bathroom facilities. Four extendible boxes house additional sleeping quarters along with a carport and a dock which is shown extended out into the water. Two sketches have apparently been redrawn from originals by Cedric Price in order to clarify ideas for publication in 'Architectural Design', (May 1970) (DR1995:0179:007 - DR1995:0179:008).

Description:
This drawing entitled "sketch proposals" is apparently a preliminary design proposal for a stage and upper gallery within a building located on Hanover Square, New York. Ground floor and first floor plans and two rough interior axonometric views of the stage and gallery are included. It cannot be determined from the drawing if the design is for the interior of an existing structure. The scope of Price's design responsibilities are also undetermined. The drawing is numbered '07' and is presumably one of at least six other drawings which are not part of the CCA's collections.

Description:
Price intended this flow chart diagram titled 'Proposed Work Programme', to visually describe the design investigation process undertaken by any architectural office for any given project. The diagram, created to describe the process to a client, charts four investigative stages: feasibility study, strategic plan, operational patterning/development planning, detailed development. The tasks to be accomplished within each stage are also described.

Design drawings and correspondence for the design of a steel mesh screen to be used in the Kasmin Gallery, for the Anthony Hill Exhibit. Two sheets of correspondence indicate that the screens were to be constructed quickly within the gallery, and re-used for shelves or stacks at a later date.

Description:
This office memorandum lists office instructions for pre-planning considerations, possibly for large festival sites. It may have once been accompanied by a report by Price summarizing his involvement with festival theme projects such as Sheffield Festival (1965; AP144.S2.D61) and Phun City (1970; AP144.S2.D77). The scope of this report and Price's involvement cannot be determined from this single textual record.

Description:
These conceptual design sketches for the RIBA exhibition at the Heinz Gallery show the forms of piles used in coastline development in various configurations. These sketches do not represent a particular project, but rather depict an exploration of ideas which were of interest to Price from 1967 [?] to 1975 (Shubert, with Price).

Description:
This drawing summarizes Price's concepts for projects located in Australia. Five to six projects are illustrated: Perthut (AP144.S2.D112), Pertpavs (AP144.S2.D124), Broome (AP144.S2.D125), Melmark (AP144.S2.D105), and possibly Perth (AP144.S2.D123) by simplified "iconic" thumbnail sketches. Not all projects have been identified.

- This colophon appears in 'Cedric Price: Architectural Association Works II' and was designed by Price himself. The colophon consists of numerous graphical "icons" and symbols important to Price, interspersed with text crediting the people who were involved with its layout, publication, and inspiration. This reprographic copy is apparently in process, since it is marked-up with red pencil, and bears an inscription "I think it's wonderful ?".

Description:
These two schematic elevation studies for the Trocadero project are composed of collages of xeroxed photographs of an existing building with a velum overlay sheet on which massing configurations and solid/void patterns are explored in marker, black charcoal, and blue pencil. Further research is required to determine the scope, purpose, and location of the project.
