Le Corbusier, qui y habite dès 1934 et jusqu’à sa mort en 1965, en fait un chantier permanent, haut lieu d’expérimentation spatiale, plastique et constructive. Par ses transformations successives, le «24NC» est donc un véritable palimpseste. Ses «multiples vies» posent aujourd’hui un problème déontologique majeur pour la sauvegarde.
