Maurice MARTY, artiste pluridisciplinaire, architecte, designer, illustrateur, peintre et sculpteur est né à Paris en 1935. Maurice Marty installe son atelier à Montparnasse à la fin des années 50, d’abord dans l’atelier de Man Ray puis dans celui de son amie l’actrice Bernadette Lafont, rue Campagne Première. « La Fabrique de Pinaffo & Pluvinage », cinquième volume de la collection Prisme, est constitué de plusieurs entretiens menés par Tony Côme avec le duo de designers Marion Pinaffo et Raphaël Pluvinage. Cette publication marque l’ouverture de la collection sur le travail d’une jeune génération de designers récemment diplômés, et permet d’explorer de nouvelles méthodes de travail, à deux ou en groupe. Dans cet entretien, Marion Pinaffo et Raphaël Pluvinage, qui travaillent ensemble depuis 2015, reviennent sur leur rencontre et leur formation à l’Ensci. Ils donnent à voir leur conception d’un design pluridisciplinaire, à la croisée du design d’objet, du design graphique mais aussi du design d’interaction. Ce livre détaille leurs méthodes de travail, leurs sources d’inspiration ainsi que les liens qu’ils ont pu nouer avec des professionnels du monde du design ou d’autres milieux connexes au fil des projets. Illustré avec une quarantaine de photographies couleur, l’ouvrage donne à voir certains exemples représentatifs du travail du duo Pinaffo Pluvinage et intégre des documents d’archive inédits (croquis, outils, prototypes, etc.).
