Résumé:
Starting from the position that the return of all colonially looted, pillaged, and stolen heritage should take place in full and without hesitation, Errant Journal No. 5 ''Learning from ancestors'' wishes to go beyond the question of "giving back," and ask what is given back by whom and to whom, where, and how? In this now seemingly omnipresent discussion, who is speaking, and which voices are being listened to? To do this, as is reflected in the title of this issue, Errant proposes a shift in perspective away from dominant (Western) epistemic authorities to consider other ways of sensing and experiencing the world and let this guide us in the questions we have. This necessarily means that this issue is not just about objects and their return, not just about physical ‘things’ that can change hands and location. It is also an issue about repair, without which restitution could be meaningless.

// The fourth issue of the annual publication dedicated to sound and music experimentation, co-published by Shelter Press and Ina GRM – Groupe de Recherches Musicales, around the topic of voice.

Welcome to the 50th issue of The Funambulist. For the very first time, the magazine is published both in its original anglophone version and a brand new francophone edition. As such, it is not innocent that this issue tackles the question of language. The achievements of a generation of activists and politically committed intellectuals to have our (anticolonial, antiracist, queer, feminist, among others) nomenclature surge into public imaginaries, has led to a dilution of this vocabulary’s political meanings. Each contribution of this issue thus proposes a subjective definition of a such a term, the issue acting like a useful glossary to reflect on our struggles.

Buckminster Fuller (1895–1983) dedicated more than five decades of his career during the 20th century to inventing and pioneering solutions to reform the environment for all humanity. Résumé:
If there is no doubt that "size matters", and that scale is one of the main factors in architecture, it is also true that the propositional interest of a building is independent from its size. To support this argument, the sixteen houses selected here represent the very different strategies and dimensions that can address domestic space. With size as organising element, the issue starts with a minimum shelter of less than 30 square meters in southern Australia, and includes examples that range from careful interventions on heritage to daring typological experiments, ending at the Chilean Andes with a large house-studio of over 2,000 square meters.
