Résumé:
In 2006, photographer Martin Usborne spent three days walking around London in the company of a fox, a dead fox, hired from a taxidermist at a rate higher than it would cost to rent a Ferrari. It was money well spent. Usborne had great fun interacting with people on the street and the fox, temporarily at least, was given a new lease of life.

Résumé:
In 2010, Liao began photographing Coney Island during a period of transition, for both the place and the artist. A new incarnation of Luna Park opened to the public, the municipal government actively engaged in redevelopment, and the area visibly transformed. At the same time, Liao’s approach to picture making changed as he experimented with new strategies and techniques. He started the project working with traditional transparency film. Although he had always used digital technology to transform the film images into a finished image, he slowly introduced digital picture-making technology to the process of recording the scenes. The resulting large-scale prints have a visual sweep often associated with cinema, encompassing the viewer and providing a strong sense of place. Edition of 500 copies

German photographers Nicole Blaffert and Franz Wamhof lived at the JHQ over a period of two months, recording the architecture, landscape and people and resulting in an intimate photographic document in the tradition of Atget and Evans. JHQ details the dissolution of a Cold War relic before our eyes.

Her pictures show what people do with water, and even more, how water affects people and the animals, too. Not on the whole, but in the immediate encounter. When bathing, diving, splashing and spraying, in rain, snow and ice, in the city and in the countryside. And like the water itself, the photographer seems to get to wherever it flows and foams, drips, bubbles and reflects – in Budapest and Bremen, in Passau and Paris, Chicago and Sovata.

Résumé:
Photographer Camilo José Vergara has been chronicling the neighborhood for forty-three years, and Harlem: The Unmaking of a Ghetto is an unprecedented record of urban change. Vergara began his documentation of Harlem in the tradition of such masters as Helen Levitt and Aaron Siskind, and he later turned his focus on the neighborhood’s urban fabric, both the buildings that compose it and the life and culture embedded in them. By repeatedly returning to the same locations over the course of decades, Vergara is able to show us a community that is constantly changing—some areas declining, as longtime businesses give way to empty storefronts, graffiti, and garbage, while other areas gentrify, with corporate chain stores coming in to compete with the mom-and-pops.
