The private house is situated in a renovated building "inserted into a block made up of rows of houses dating from the beginning of the century." [1] Riva worked on this project in 1983. The project series contains early sketches of interior sections, interior elevations, and floor plans. It also contains execution drawings, including sections, floor plans, elevations, and furnishing details, including plans for an armchair. Riva worked on a first proposal from 1963-1964, however the family asked for a revised second proposal in 1966. This revised proposal was built. The house consists of a two-storey main residential block and a smaller service block with a kitchen and a garage. Documenting the first proposal are design development drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, details and furnishings details. The second proposal is documented through design development and presentation drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and sections. The project series also contains design development drawings for later additions to the house in 1967 to 1968, including chiefly furnishing details.
