Conceptual sketches include numerous thumbnail and annotated diagrammatic sketches which explore the functional relationships of the areas encompassed by the project. Design development drawings show sections through river embankments, restaurant and tower structures, walkways, ramps, and catwalks, at high and low tide and at night and during the day. Axonometric drawings show the principal structures, circulation paths, and access and control points. A group of drawings are probably a competition entry set marked by a hole punched in the upper right hand corner. Presentation panels are composed of reproductions of photographs of the existing site with overdrawing and montage which shows Price's project in relationship to the river. The firm identified this project as number 123. “The project attempts to express, with an architectural gesture, the beauty of the geography of Algeciras: the bay, the port, the Rock and the Straits of Gibraltar, the proximity of Ceuta and Africa, the cork-oak forests that surround the town. For this [Abalos & Herreros] propose a building that, from a single body, opens out into two towers from one great public viewing platform. This form has strategic holes giving onto the more notable topographical features, establishing a physical relationship with them, while the section is organized as a gradient of privacy that increases with height. The competition […] proposed a mixed programme in a posture parallel to the great avenue of the harbour of Algeciras. An evanescent building apparently fragile appears to let one being stimulated by the effects of the climate and the atmospheric phenomenons with an appearance changing with the function of the hours of the day or the season. This project series documents Cornelia Hahn Oberlander's landscape design for the Mill Creek Public Housing Complex between 40th Street, Aspen Street, and Fairmount Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Oberlander worked on this project in the early 1950s as Dan Kiley's associate. They both were consulting for Louis Kahn's office, Kahn, McAllister, Braik, & Day. The first phase of the project consisted of a complex of three seventeen-storey apartment towers accomodating 218 units on a four-acre site. The landscape design consisted of a system of pedestrian areas to connect the site with the city, including a central alley linking Fairmount Avenue to a common green space. Trees to provide shade were planted around the parking spaces and the housing towers. The project was completed in 1954, but most of the landscaping by Kiley and Oberlander was never realized. The Mill Creek complex was demolished in 2002 to make space for the new low-rise public housing development. The project series contains only two reprographic copies of landscape plans. This project series documents Cornelia Hahn Oberlander's landscape design for the Mill Creek Public Housing Complex between 40th Street, Aspen Street, and Fairmount Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Oberlander worked on this project in the early 1950s as Dan Kiley's associate. They both were consulting for Louis Kahn's office, Kahn, McAllister, Braik, & Day. The first phase of the project consisted of a complex of three seventeen-storey apartment towers accomodating 218 units on a four-acre site. The landscape design consisted of a system of pedestrian areas to connect the site with the city, including a central alley linking Fairmount Avenue to a common green space. Trees to provide shade were planted around the parking spaces and the housing towers. The project was completed in 1954, but most of the landscaping by Kiley and Oberlander was never realized. The Mill Creek complex was demolished in 2002 to make space for the new low-rise public housing development. The project series contains only two reprographic copies of landscape plans.
