This project series documents the design for the SACOR housing complex in Matosinhos, Portugal. While the records were held in the office’s archives this project was assigned the number 20/60. In the past the office identified the project as number 111. The office assigned the date 1965 for this project. The project consisted of a ten-storey building commissioned by SACOR (Sociedade Anónima de Combustíveis e Óleos Refinados). Documentation suggests it included a garage, gas station, offices, waiting room, bar, atrium, restaurant and dwellings. Documenting this project are sketches, as well as photographs of the site and model. Project documentation and correspondence with SACOR are also included.

The project consisted predominantly in the restoration of the garden, dating from the 1910s, to block the view and add more intimacy, and for the addition of a swimming pool. Oberlander working with Arthur Erickson on this project. The project series contains sketches, presentation drawings, including a grading plan, and design development drawings, such as site plans with grading, sections and details of landscape. The project is also documented through concept notes and scope of work report, financial documents, some photographs and documentation related to the project.

It also contains presentation drawings showing the proposed scheme, including site plans, elevations, and plans of the existing buildings in the Piano di recupero di Otranto.
