Description:
Project series AP154.S1.1965.PR01, Intensive Therapy Center for Infants, Willowbrook State School, Staten Island, New York (1965), documents an executed project for a 30,000-square-foot addition to the Willowbrook State School, an institution built in the 1930s as a residential facility for individuals with developmental disabilities. According to a 1969 report to the Governor, the Intensive Therapy Center for Infants represented an effort to increase therapeutic options at facilities like Willowbrook in light of new concepts for the care of its clientele. The Center introduced spaces for training, recreation and other program activities that were absent from the four ward buildings to which it was connected. The project series contains a complete set of working drawings dated May 5, 1967.

Description:
The mediaeval Sint Laurenskerk was damaged in the May 1940 bombardment of Rotterdam. At the time, Oud sat on a committee that was dedicated to the preservation of historic buildings. His fellow committee members included A. van der Steur and J.C. Meischke, who proposed a design for the restoration of Sint Laurenskerk in 1948. Because of the high costs involved, Oud was opposed to the restoration effort; he instead proposed restoring the church tower and creating a different nave building with a green space in between the two. Although his plans met with some positive reviews, a modified restoration plan by Van der Steur and Meischke was ultimately implemented (Taverne et al. 2001, 453-456). Project series contains one plan by Oud.

The project series documents "The Curious Mr. Pettena", a series of photographs taken by Pettena during his stay in the United States from 1971 to 1973. During that time "[Pettena] discovers views and contexts which he feels near to his theoretic and visual work, a temporary architecture as well, documenting research and whatever comes from the mind, making it real, or discovering it in something already built where nature has worked so that it may become part of a common language or subject."
