A self-appointed, uniformed attendant rode the length of the 22 Fillmore Bus in San Francisco. Greeting passengers, buffing seats and cleaning at each stop, this attendant lent an air of grandeur and civility to an often-overlooked form of transportation and contributed ceremony to riders.
