We’re (even more) open

Our current exhibitions are ᐊᖏᕐᕋᒧᑦ / Ruovttu Guvlui / Towards Home in the Main galleries and Retail Apocalypse in the Octagonal gallery and in the Hall Cases.

Appointments to view archival materials in our study room are now fully booked through October. Requests to view library materials may be approved on a case by case basis. Please contact ref@cca.qc.ca to make an appointment for November.

We look forward to welcoming you. Here are a few guidelines to follow:

Our opening hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 11am to 6pm, with Thursday until 9pm.

Appointments to our Study room must be made in advance by contacting ref@cca.qc.ca. Walk-in visitors will not be accepted. Please refer to the following FAQ page for more information. You may also access our collection by browsing our holdings to see what’s been digitized.

We strongly encourage everyone to wear a mask while inside the CCA, taking care of the more vulnerable people in our community.

Guided tours and other on-site events have returned. We are taking extra care with your safety and that of our staff and continue to require those aged 13+ to show proof of vaccination in order to participate in tours, workshops, or most on-site events.

We realize that these measures are beyond what the government currently requires, and we thank you for respecting them.

Instead of a coat check, there is now a coat rack on which you may hang your coat. We may be able to store certain personal items behind our reception desk for the duration of your visit.

As always, wheelchairs can be requested at the reception desk, and they are being sanitized after each use.

There isn’t seating in our galleries, but you may borrow a folding stool to use throughout your visit. We are sanitizing stools after each use.

We encourage the use of our audio introductions, which can be accessed on personal devices, using the public Wi-Fi network in the building.

If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or are feeling unwell, please take care of yourself and do not come in.

Finally, we are only accepting payments made by card for all transactions, from museum entry to bookstore purchases.

If you have any questions, please contact us at reservations@cca.qc.ca or +1 514 939 7026.
