CCA Research Network: The Place of Research@Aarhus

CCA elsewhere, in English, Det Grønlandske Hus, Aarhus, 17 June 2026, 1pm to 3pm

The Place of Research is an ongoing event format that brings together members of the CCA Research Network, an entity representing alumni from our research programs, for site-specific gatherings that allow network members to share research in progress. The event highlights the ongoing concerns of the Research Network, positions the network as a medium of exchange and support, and creates concrete encounters to bring together alumni around compelling and urgent research questions.

We convene the fourth of these gatherings in the lead-up to the European Architectural History Network conference in Aarhus and offer a window into how architectural practice brings the seemingly distant places of Aarhus and Nuuk into intimate, everyday contact. Kalaaleq landscape architect Kimmernaq Lyberth and Kalaaleq architect Frederik Arqaluk Rosing lead a conversation on how Inuit design practices and philosophies enter into relation with their research and soon-to-be-completed design projects in Nuuk. The conversation takes place at Det Grønlandske Hus (The Greenlandic House) in central Aarhus. Participants from the CCA Research Network bring insights from their own active research projects that can contribute to the exchange.

This event is limited to members of the CCA Research Network. Please register by emailing studium@cca.qc.ca.
